Be the Generation // Rational

The idea for the poster design was to tell a story in an unusual, eye-catching way. So I used bold, bright, almost neon 80's style colours to grab the viewers’ attention. One of the competition requirements was to include an image of Madiba, Nelson Mandela. Due to his image being heavily copyrighted, I decided to use Mandela's image in silhouette. The design style is retro 80's, with lots of shapes, 3D objects, photos and gradients in a collage.
